traditions and art

I read somewhere:

“Turning traditions and popular art inside out, upside down, exploring.”

Can Singapore do something like this? Do we have any tangible history of traditions and popular art to turn inside out?

snakes again

Sunday, June 8th, 2008

I had seen the shadow of a snake being attacked by a bunch of normal birds right in-front of Sara’s house. I should tell her sooner, but only managed about 1.5 weeks later.

The very next day, Sara saw a half dead snake right in-front of my house. She’s moved it to the bush right next to it and only told me 2 days later.. by then, it was quite dried up.

Where are the snakes coming from? They do look like baby pythons! Must be the rats in my neighbors’ house.

It’s strange how I’ve seen so much snake related stuff in the past year. I remember how when I was much younger and my mom’s family had a snake well, where they would keep their snakes. I would play with some of them - and not be afraid. I was only 4 - 5 then?!

Snakes. snakes. snakesssss….

be worried

When you are doing a bad job, and nobody points it out to you? That’s when they’ve given up on you.
